Ingredients
Rough Measurements
800 ml kombu dashi
005 tbsp garlic cloves (sliced)
010 tbsp mayonnaise sauce (vegan alternative: Wildwood Zesty Garlic Aioli)
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)

Precise Measurements
800 g kombu dashi
075 g garlic (sliced)
150 g mayonnaise sauce (vegan alternative: Wildwood Zesty Garlic Aioli)
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)

Instructions
1. In a large pot, bring kombu dashi to a boil, and then simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Slice garlic and blanch in a separate pot of water for 5 minutes.
3. Remove garlic from pot, rinse in cold water, and mash into a purée.
4. Add garlic to the kombu dashi and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Add mayonnaise sauce to the soup, stir gently to dissolve, and allow the soup to simmer for 10 minutes (avoid boiling).
6. Season the soup with salt and pepper (optional: garnish with croutons)
7. Serve hot.
